Meet the Liberty Disability Services team. Each of these passionate and enthusiastic individuals are dedicated to supporting our participants and their families.
Directors


Amanda Glasson Strategic Communications, Human Resources & Plan Management
Amanda's pronouns are she/her/hers and is both Tongan and Australian. Her wife Jessie and 3 children create a hectic but fun and loving family home. Amanda is passionate about making sure people are represented equally in all aspects of life. E.g. are their books and songs in the kinder or school with same sex parents, kids with disability and aboriginal people?
You'll find Amanda at every party, if not dancing, she'll be hopping between all groups saying hello! She loves to create 3D cakes, going all out on decorations at Christmas time and most of all being with her very large family!
About Amanda
Amanda brings an energy to Liberty Disability Services like no other. After years of extensive experience in Disability, employment, welfare and training she is passionate for change and driven by empowering people to have the opportunity to reach their goals.
In her role as Director of Strategic Operations & Human Resources, Amanda will be focusing on creating a positive and empowering culture at Liberty Disability Services for not only our participants and families but also our staff.


About Kathie
Kathie Denno
Allied Health & Community Mentors
Kathie and her husband Michael
are a totally blended family with 3 kids each on
both sides - Kathie has 2 boys and 1 girl and Michael has 3 boys - which makes for fun and happy family celebrations. Family is everything in Kathie's world and she loves to spend time with her 5 grandkids - Winter, Austin, Sydney, Peter and Jacob.
Kathie believes that participants are at the centre of every decision and direction the company makes. Choice, Control and Empowerment are not just words - they are the very essence of her belief system. Kathie loves the journey she is on with Elle and Amanda and couldn't think of better women to spread the disability word with. Kathie's pronouns are she/her/hers
Kathie brings of 20 years experience in the Disability sector and has a passion for providing quality and transparent care. As someone who has lived experience also, Kathie is bringing a wealth of knowledge to the Liberty team and has been working within the NDIS framework for 3 years.
In her role of Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance Management, Kathie will be focusing on continuous improvement, compliance with the Disability Service Standards and quality assurance.


About Elle
Elle is a fun loving and caring person who loves all things animals. In her spare time she runs a 70 acre farm with her fiancé Brent where they have a number of rescue horses as well as Sheep, Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Ferrets, Snakes and any other animal in need of a loving home. She is always looking for a new adventure with her next farm animal!
Elle Cooper
Support Coordination and Quality Assurance & Compliance
Elle brings over 10 years experience of community engagement & liaison, most recently working within the Disability Sector and is driven by achieving positive outcomes for participants and their families. Elle brings diverse experience to the Liberty team and is passionate for innovative change.
In her role of Director of Service Delivery & Strategic Communications, Elle will be focusing on ensuring Liberty Disability Services provides quality and reliable supports to our participants. Within this role Elle will focus on community engagement and marketing/communications.

Warren Mitchell
Regional Manager
Western & Barwon
Warren has over 20 years experience in the Disability sector in various position including Support Work, Rostering and After hours support, management of a Disability Employment Service, Quality and Compliance and as a Support Coordinator. He has been working in the NDIS realm for over 3 years and has a wealth of knowledge of disability and NDIS processes and loves educating others in these areas.
Warren is passionate about social change, empowerment and assisting people to achieve whatever life goals they would like to strive towards


Wendy James
Regional Manager
Eastern & Northern Region
As Regional Manager for Northern & Eastern I support our wonderful & dedicated teams of Support Coordinator's to ensure our participants receive the best delivery of support from our Support Coordinator's. My regional manager role includes accessing providers to support our participants with diverse and unique opportunities for personal growth and achieve their desired goals supporting their individual disability, linking to the community networks across the regions, liaising with Planners and Local Area Coordinators from different NDIS agencies to ensure a holistic approach for supporting our participants on their NDIS journey.

Chief Financial Officer

Team Leader Community Mentor
Michelle Ball - the Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Disability Services since July 2021. I am a qualified FCPA with Financial, Strategic Business Planning, Resource Management, Project Management, HR, Risk and Compliance Management and Stakeholder Engagement experience and have worked in industries spanning Investment, Agriculture, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Education, Housing and now Disability Services – I love to learn.
I most enjoy a good catch up with friends, a laugh and have an interest in positive psychology. I like movies, walking, gardening, shopping and socialising. My favourite time of year is Easter – the weather is great and I love chocolate!

Lachlan Glen
Plan Management
Team Leader
Lachlan runs the Plan Management program at Liberty. He and his team take care of the processing and payment of invoices for all of our plan-managed participants.
Lachlan has a beautiful wife, two amazing sons, and a dog named Poppy. He is a mad ice hockey fan and in his spare time loves watching movies and reading books.


Elisha Morrow
Team Leader Support Coordinator - Eastern Region
Elisha studied Psychology before moving into the disability sector over 4 years ago. She found her passion in this field after working at a disability summer camp in America. She has in depth hands-on experience with all types of disabilities. She loves to be able to support people to achieve the goals they have and experience life to the fullest.
Elisha loves travelling, being at the beach, camping, and being around friends and family. Elisha also loves football and follows Geelong. Go Cats!!

Erica Menheere-Thompson
Team leader Western Region Support Coordination
Erica has over 20 years of learning, sharing and working within the Mental Health, Indigenous and Disability Sectors. As a carer and an adoptive parent, her lived experience has deepened and driven a desire to improve access and outcomes for all people impacted by social injustice across our community.
As a grandparent, wildlife carer and avid gardener she aims for work-life balance, and a sustainable future.
